Inner Senshi: You need to eat three well-rounded meals per day! Fried foods are fine, you'll just also need a salad or veggies for the rest of your nutrients!

Inner Chilchuck: Don't overwork yourself, do what they're paying you to do. A job is a job. Also, don't get involved in office politics or romances, they're more trouble than they're worth! And don't risk your health for some job!

Inner Laios: Yes, the stray doggie is cute, but it may not be used to being around people, and can absolutely still bite you! Call animal control so the dog can be taken to a shelter, fed, vaccinated, and hopefully adopted!

Inner Marcille: Tradition and rules exist for a reason, but it may not be a good one. You should know why the rules are what they are instead of following them blindly. A lot of times, rules and traditions exist to reinforce power structures!

Inner Falin: Even ugly things deserve love and respect! The people around you are suffering too, so always try kindness first!

Inner Izutsumi: Izutsumi.

I hate the “open floor plan” that everyone is obsessed with in houses now. I want nooks and crannies and bizarre floor plans. I don’t need to be able to see what someone is doing on the other side of the house. I want places to hide and lurk and dwell in the shadows. I am the beast who awaits in the labyrinth

Open floor plans are a relic of post-war "we can consume as much as we want with no consequences" optimism. You know why old houses are full of doors and corridors and such? Because you can trap heat in just the rooms you are using, and not have to heat the whole house (likely sending it up through your high, barely-insulated, exposed-rafter ceiling in the process).

Consign open plan housing to the dustbin along with gas guzzling boat cars and other relics of the pre-oil-crisis era. Go green, go labyrinthine. With doors.

let me preface this by saying that i overall really like the look of the hades 2 gods.....but there's just something missing when compared to the first one

maybe it's just because i've played the first game for hundreds of hours but the art is just so much dynamic, carries so much more oomph y'know?

i'm not an artist but is it those thicker lines that make it better? not sure

it's also much less detailed and simple in the second one. like the arm guard/bracer thingy has no details on it, where the first one has all these lines and stuff, which makes me hope that these aren't the final versions of the art

anyway, i just really really like the art style of the first game and i didn't realize how much i wanted it to be that way for the second one as well
